March Favourites 2015

Hi Guys,

We are already at the end of March and Spring is here! I can definitely tell that Spring is here because it hasn't stopped raining, and to make everything more cheery I thought I'd share with you my March favourites.

For this month I have chosen:

*Clean & Clean Morning Energy Shine Control Daily Facial Lotion
This is probably the third post this product has been mentioned in! Take a look at the morning products to find out more about this product.

*Hair Bow
I always like accessorising with hair bows as you can get so many different colours and designs. I have quite a lot! The small ones like this black polka dot one came in a set of three bows, so you can imagine how many bows I currently have haha. I love wearing this hair bow because it goes with everything. I got this bow in New Look for £3.99.

*Clean & Clear Truly Gentle Facial Wipes
As you can tell I've been experimenting with a range of different product brands as to the usual kind. I found my eyes were beginning to become a bit sensitive when I was using the Good Things facial wipes so I started using Simple facial wipes and found that they weren't for me so I started using the Clean & Clear facial wipes and found that they are much more nicer on the skin. I got these in Superdrug for £3.09.

*Models Own Nail Polish
I talk a lot about this product in my Spring Nail Collection post here.

*Mud Mask
I really like these little mud mask. You can get them pretty much anywhere for £1.00, which is really cheap and they work so well. I recently went to my local Morrisons store and they were selling 5 mud masks for £3.00 and I couldn't say no to that! I really like using these every now and then. I find they work really well. I've used this Deep Sea and the Honey Peel Off masks and I absolutely loved the Honey one. It was a bit weird putting the mask on at first because it felt like honey and felt a bit sticky but the outcome was amazing and peeling off the mask was quite fun as well.

*Clean & Clear Blackhead Clearing Cleanser
This has been my ultra emergency cleanser recently. It doesn't get rid of blackheads completely but it tones them down well enough so you can't see them. I've recently purchased a product that I want to try that gets rid of blackheads so once that's come and I've given it a try a few times I shall review it, but for now this is my blackhead remover! I got this in Superdrug for £3.49

*Argan Oil
I included this product in my February Favourites, so if you want to take a look at that you can here. This product is so nice to use and is from Superdrug for £6.99.

*Baylis and Harding Beauticology Mango And Mandarin Shower Gel
So after receiving the Beauticology Strawberry and Pomegranate shower gel for Christmas I thought I'd try the other scents out. I actually found them all in Morrisons for £3.00 which I thought was quite a good reasonable price. I really love the mango and mandarin one so far though! It smells so nice! However it's started to annoy me because it definitely smells of something from my childhood and I can't think of what it is and I'm dying to know what it is!

And that's all for my March Favourites. I hope you enjoyed this post. What sort of posts would you like to see more of? i.e: Nail art, DIY, Hair tutorials? Leave a comment and let me know.
Thank you so much for getting me to 500 followers! I seriously didn't think I would have this many on my blog so thank you!
I hope you enjoy your day and I shall see you in my next post,

March Haul

Hi Everyone!

So this was suppose to be a 'mini' haul, but then I kind of gathered everything together and thought that there was quite a lot of things, so this mini haul isn't so mini! I've also been at work and college which is why I haven't been posting as much as I have been, and I've also had a change around with my room with new furniture and all that so I'll make a post about that for you soon, the background in the photo is my new bed cover so that can be a bit of a teaser for you until I show you my new room!

I got a new job at the end of February in a town that's a 35 minute drive away from where I live. I had to go there a few times to get use to it, or as I like to call it 'get my bearings' and well...they have a lot of shops I like and the shops are also massive! So if I have time after work I tend to go for a walk about to have a look around before everything shuts.

What I bought:

Clothes

*Grey Dress - New Look - £19.99
I'm absolutely in love with this dress. If you read my blog you'd know that I had a grey dress similar to this in my 'The Grey Wishlist' post. I found this cute little dress in New Look and I never want to take it off. It's perfect for going out in.

*Shoes - New Look - £17.99
These shoes actually go really well with the grey dress! I also love that these shoes go with skirts and loads of other dresses. I always have that problem with wearing a skirt or dress and finding the perfect shoes to go with them, it's quite difficult I think. I found these shoes in the 915 section in New Look. I have small feet so I sometimes have a little look at the teen shoes.

*White T-shirt - New Look - £6.99
Nothing interesting for a plain white t-shirt. I actually got this because we are wearing white t-shirts for the hair show at college, which this one is actually getting writing printed onto it so I may buy another one that I can wear in the summer. I just loved how flowy it is.

*Bag - New Look - £29.99
So I actually managed to get this grey bag that I have been drooling over for the last couple of weeks! I put it on my grey's wishlist and now I finally own it! It's a really good size for me because it has two sections, one where I put my purse and keys and bits like that and the other section where I put my lunch and college books. I really like how on college days my books and lunch fit perfectly in the second section and then on work days I just take my college books out and put my lunch in. Everything fits!

Accessories

*Clean and Clear Moisturiser and Morning Energy Products - Superdrug - £3.59, £3.99 and £3.99
I already did a post about the Morning Energy products, so you can read that at any time. I bought the moisturiser because I always use the Good Things moisturiser and I fancied a change and seeing as I was using new morning products I wanted a new morning moisturiser as well! haha

*Models Own Mint Icing and Pink Veneer - Superdrug and Models Own - £4.99 and £4.99
I really fancied trying Models Own nail brand and seeing as we are going into Spring I thought I'd try these colours for Spring. I included them in my 'Spring Nail Collection' post. I really like this brand and plan to buy more colours!

*To Do List - Clintons - Price Unknown
Trust me to forget the price of this, but it's a definite must have! Ever since I have gotten this to do list I've never felt more organised and nothing is forgotten to be done now. It's cute and I use each column everyday to make it easier.

 *Vitamin E Facial Oil - Superdrug - £2.99
Okay, okay, okay. How many times have I said that I've found a solution to my dry skin? Well now I really have. I found this Vitamin E oil in Superdrug and it really does the trick! I apply it every morning and night and massage in before applying a moisturiser, and for the whole day my face feels completely normal! So glad I have this product now.

*Pauls Boutique Powder Brush - Superdrug - £6.99
There's nothing really to say about this powder brush, I just needed a powder brush and well...this one was pink and soft! So yeah I got this one haha

*Yankee Candle Fluffy Towels - Clintons - £6.75
Seeing as I'm sorting my room out I thought I would purchase my first ever Yankee Candle! I got a tea light holder so I wanted to have the tea lights on this occasion and I decided to go for the fluffy towel scent because I thought it smelt amazing and all fresh for Spring! I want to have more of a collection with Yankee Candles, so what's your favourite scented Yankee Candle? I'll check them out on my next visit!

I hope you enjoyed this March Haul, there'll probably be more items in April haha!
I also can't believe I'm nearly on 500 followers! Thank you! :) What do you guy's think about a giveaway? What would you like to see in the giveaway? Give me some ideas and I'll put something together for you all!
Have a lovely week and I shall see you in my next post!

The Morning Products

Hello Everyone,

Today I thought I'd share with you two fairly new products that I've added to my Morning routine.

Every morning and night I really like to make sure my skin feels really soft and is clean. I've used a lot of facial washes and facial scrubs in my time and I really wanted to show these ones! As you recently know, I was suffering dry skin towards the end of Winter, and reaching out to these products was amazing for me. My skin has never felt so amazing and looked so clear!

Clean & Clear Morning Energy Daily Facial Scrub
I really like this product. I was on Bloglovin and saw that someone had already blogged about it and the product really caught my eye. I love how the product is a bright shade of yellow, it's a happy colour and gives you that happy feeling and I love waking up in the morning, washing my face with warm water and then applying this product to my face. It's smells of Lemon and Papaya, which I thought was quite ironic seeing as I've been having an obsession with Papaya lately, but this smells absolutely amazing. I like that fact that it's really foamy as well and has bursting beads in it which gently exfoliates the skin for visibly brighter skin. After the first time using this product I noticed a difference. My face wasn't dry and hasn't been for a while now and it also really makes your skin look brighter. I've actually had compliments! You'll probably see this in my March Favourites haha. I got this from Superdrug for £3.99.

Clean & Clean Morning Energy Daily Facial Lotion
I've been using this product a lot more recently. If you're looking for something to control shine on your face then this is definitely a product for you! For the whole day I feel confident that my skin isn't shiny in any places and it really cleans the face to. I pour a little bit of the lotion onto cotton wool and then wipe all over my face and neck and you really notice the difference as well. The smell is quite strong but is still a nice smell of Lemongrass and Fruit Extracts. So if you really want to say goodbye to oily skin then I do suggest you try this product. I got this product also from Superdrug for £3.99.

*******

I hope you liked the two products that I picked up from the Morning Energy range. I wish they had a night time range as well because that would be really good for me, I'm always looking for a good night time range of products. If you have any suggestions for this please let me know!
I'm changing my room around at the weekend as my sister is moving out of the bedroom so I'll be doing a post on that. This also means more posts, as sharing a room makes it quite difficult, so hopefully I can share more posts with you all.
I hope you have a fantastic week and I shall see you in my next post,

Spring Nail Collection

Hello Everyone!

In today's post I thought I would share with you my Spring nail polish collection. The one thing I love about Spring (and pretty much every other season) is the colours. Spring you have the pastel colours, Summer is more for bright colours that really pop and catch your eye! Autumn is more dark purples and reds and for Winter it's more greys and dark colours. So I thought I would share with you the colours I chose for this Spring.

So you all know my obsession for NYC nail polish but I have chosen a few other brands as well!

*Barry M Silk Mist from Superdrug for £3.99
I've always liked silk material, I don't know why but it's just a soft delicate material. When I saw this nail polish I was really eager to try it out. I really like the finished look, it really looks like silk! I also chose this pastel blue because it caught my eye more compared to the others, I feel like everyone always goes for a pastel pink or purple so I thought I'd be different and go for the pastel blue and I really liked it.

*NYC 300 Spring Tulip nail polish from Superdrug for £1.79
I've been using this colour for over a year. My Sister has been using this colour a lot as well, she used it more in the late Spring early Summer. It's definitely a nice pinky colour, I like how it's got a more peachy tone to it and is definitely a colour to wear during Spring!

*NYC 325 Raindrop nail polish from Superdrug for £1.79
This is such a pretty nail polish colour! I've had so many compliments about this colour, so it's really a must have in my opinion! I love the shade of blue and the name of it 'Raindrop' it really gives it the Spring feel because 'April showers, bring May flowers' it's perfect!

*NYC 246 Park Ave nail polish from Superdrug for £1.79
I thought I'd best add a nude colour in, though this colour is like a dark beige colour. I like this colour because it's neutral and will go with anything you wear.

*Models Own HyperGel Pink Veneer from Superdrug for £4.99
When I saw this colour I just had to buy it. I love pastel pink nail polish, and this certain shade of pastel pink was unbelievably cute! I've already worn it once and I've gotten a lot of compliments about it. I love it when people compliment your nails!

*NYC 190 Long Time Lavender from Superdrug for £2.49
I guess for Spring the most popular colour I'd go for is pastel pink. This is the third pink nail polish I have spoken about in this post haha. I love this one because it has a shimmer to it so it's not just a block colour which makes it very different to the other pinks I've chosen.

*Models Own Mint Icing from Models Own for £4.99
I was browsing around on the Models Own website and I was looking at the Icing collection because everyone seems to be going mad about them! I was looking at the colours and the one that stood out to me more was the 'Mint Icing'. I really liked the colour and I've never owned a mint colour nail polish before! While my Sister was out shopping I asked her if she could buy it for me if she came across it and she managed to do so and I'm loving the colour so much! I'm currently debating whether to buy the rest of the Icing collection now.

*NYC 355 Lavender Blossom from Superdrug for £1.79
I also love a light purple colour as well for Spring! It can be pastel purple or a really nice light shade of purple, like this one. I wear this shade quite a lot because it goes well with a lot of my outfits and isn't too harsh of a colour. I also prefer to do a Spring nail art with this purple background with a few daisies. I used this for my Valentines nail art, I think the colour really reminds you of Spring.

******

And that's my Spring Nail Collection! I hope you enjoyed this post, I'm trying my best to be active at the moment as I've been quite busy recently but I definitely have post planned for you which I hope you all like.
I hope you all have an amazing day and I shall see you in my next post,

The Disney Tag

Hey Guys,

As you may already know, I am highly obsessed with Disney! And I thought The Disney Tag was the perfect thing for me to do. So I hope you enjoy this tag! happy

A scene in any Disney movie you wish you could experience
Oh I'd love to experience the scene where Flynn takes Rapunzel to see the 'floating lights' and they start singing and all the lanterns float around them and it's so unbelievably beautiful. Such a perfect moment. It's also my favourite song of the movie.

An unforgettable experience/moment you had at the Park
I don't think it could get any more magical than what it did. I was about 8 years old and we were just walking round the park as a family and then it started snowing!! It snowed in Disney! It was the best moment I could have every experienced for myself as I love the snow, and putting the two things I love together made it extra magical!

What Non-Disney song(s) that reminds you or brings back memories of Disney and or the Parks?
Hmm.. at the moment I would have to say Heartbeat Song by Kelly Clarkson. I know it sounds strange but I've found that the song kind of sounds like the song Introducing Me that Nate (Nick Jonas) sings on Camp Rock 2. I don't know they just sound kind of similar? So it always reminds me of Disney.

When was the first time you went to a Disney Park?
When I was 8 years old! First time in Disney and it snowed! I'm definitely hoping to go back there!

If you could choose any of the characters to be your best friend who would you choose?
Oh my, hmm... I'd say Pascal because he's a funny little chameleon, he always makes me giggle. I also have a teddy of him. I also chose Finn McMissile, I absolutely loved both of the Cars films, and I really liked Cars 2 as it was all secret agent missions and racing all at the same time and Finn McMissile was smooth and very clever!
I then also chose Olaf from my favourite movie Frozen! There's no words really for him, you just want to hug him and oh my gosh, I just want a real life Olaf!

Who are your favourite Disney Princesses?
My favourite Disney princesses would have to be Belle and Rapunzel. I like Belle because she was so sweet and pretty and I like Rapunzel because she was funny and basically showed that you should never give up on chasing your dreams as new dreams will come, so much inspiration from one film.

Name a scene/moment in any Disney movie that never fails to make your cry.
The one thing I hate is crying at films. If I tear a little then I watch the film over and over so I'm used to it, this happened a couple of times when Sulley had to leave Boo. But the one film that never fails to make me cry is The Fox and the Hound, I can't get past the part where the old woman leaves Tod in the forest and then drives away and it starts raining. Tod gets all sad and confused as to why he's been left and this is when the tears become a waterfall!

What is the first Disney Movie you remember seeing?
Oh blimey hmm... Definitely the classic Mickey Mouse!

What is your favourite Disney Movie?
At the moment it's Frozen, then I would say Tangled and then Cars and Cars 2 along with Monsters Inc and Monsters University. There's so many to choose from but these are definitely my most watched! It's always hard to choose a favourite.

I hope you all enjoyed this post. I tag anyone who is a fan of Disney to do this tag, then let me know in the comments when you've done it, I'd love to see what you love about Disney!
Have a lovely day and I shall see you in my next post!

Mother's Day Gift Ideas

Hey Guys,

I've never actually done a post in March before, which is crazy! So I thought I'd do a post for Mother's Day, seeing as it's only around 10 days away! I thought I'd share with you a few ideas of what to get your mum for Mother's Day to make them feel extra special!

The gifts I found:

*Teddy Bear from Clintons for £5.00.
I think a teddy is a lovely gift to give on any occasion. It's something that you can put anywhere, such as a shelf or on your bed, literally anywhere. It always gives a special touch. I found this 'Mum gives the best hugs' bear and thought it was the cutest bear going! And it's true Mum's really do give the best hugs!

*Flash Jimmy Choo from Superdrug for £30.00.
Perfume is always a great gift. I know my mum is a fan of Jimmy Choo so I thought I would add it to the list to give others an idea on what to get. I love the smell of one of my mum's Jimmy Choo perfume so it definitely smells nice, which is good.

*Strawberry Premium from The Body Shop for £28.00.
This Strawberry Premium set would make a lovely gift for all those mum's who love the scent of strawberries! This wonderful set comes with body butter, body polish, strawberry eau de toilette, lip butter and a mini bath sponge. Perfect for a relaxing night in!

*Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream from Boots for £54.00.
I personally really like the Marc Jacobs perfume. I'm really drawn to the appearance of all of their perfumes, they're so beautiful! I especially like this one which is why I have chosen it to be in my gift ideas.

*Fresh Cut Roses Yankee Candle from Boots for £9.99.
A candle is always a perfect gift. Some people burn them but some people don't and keep it for show which is why I kind of chose this one. I think a fair few people love a Yankee candle, especially mum's, and I love this pink Yankee candle and how it's specifically labelled as 'Mum', it's adorable! The scent of fresh cut roses gives a more relaxing feel to the room.

*Flowers
Flowers are always a must! You can buy any kind from pretty much anywhere!

*Gardenia Blossom Candle from Clintons for £4.99.
As I said before, a candle is a perfect gift, and for this one I have chosen the scent Gardenia Blossom. I think it's a beautiful flower! I also think flower scented candles are relaxing and I also like the colours and pattern on the tin. I personally wouldn't burn this candle due to it being so pretty, but it's definitely one to buy for your mum!

*Pillow from Card Factory for £4.99.
A scatter pillow is always nice on a bed or on a sofa. I really like this one as it says 'A mum can take the place of all others but no one else can take her place' I really love an inspiring quote of any kind and having them around the house can really lift moods and cheer people up. This one is definitely perfect for Mother's Day.

And that's it! I hope this post gave you a few ideas on what to get your mum for Mother's Day! Sometimes it's hard finding something and it can get stressful so hopefully this put your mind at ease. You can also make gifts for your mum if you are really struggling, for example, you can make a 'spa in a jar' or even the jar I made for the 2015 memories, you can make almost anything if you put your heart into it. A handmade gift is always cherished.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your day and I shall see you in my next post,

Jessica xo
