December Favourites 2014

Hey Guys,

It's the last month of the 2014 monthly favourites! Can't believe my next monthly favourite post will be 'January 2015' still can't get my head around at how fast this year has flown. In this months post I will be sharing with you the products that help me through winter. It's gotten to that time of year where lip balms are essential to take with you everywhere!

So let's start with what I've chosen for this month:

*Zoella Body Lotion - Superdrug - £5.00
If you read 'My Birthday' post you would know that I purchased a few items and products from Zoella's collection, and I've finally used them! I love how this body lotion is so moisturising and smells so nice as well! I really enjoy using this after a nice relaxing shower when I feel like pampering my self!
*Zoella Soak Opera Shower Gel - Superdrug - £5.00
I've finally used this as well! I really love the fact that you can just soak in it and relax. I also love the fact that it is a pastel pink colour and I've been using this shower gel when I really want to pamper my self so I don't use it all the time but it's definitely a favourite!
*Good Things Deep Clean Blackhead Exfoliator - Boots - £4.99
I think in every monthly favourite I mention a Good Things product, but they are so good! I used this product ages ago and then stopped but this month I recently started using it again and now I remember the benefits of this product I can't stop using it! It's a definite must if you are trying to get rid of blackheads!
*Good Things Manuka Honey Creamy Cleanser - Boots - £4.99
Okay, so I basically have every product of Good Things haha and this product has definitely appeared on my blog so many times but I seriously cannot get enough of it! I love a cleanser that really cleanses your face and this product does exactly that! Good Things do a lot of good facial products and I recommend you try them out!
*Lip Balm x5 - The Body Shop - was £15.00 now £10.00
Now it's Winter I've been experiencing dry lips, so as I was doing my Christmas shopping I found these cute 5 little lip balms stashed in a candy cane packaging. I've tried all of them at least once just to see what they were like and I've been really addicted to the Mango one! So if you ever pass The Body Shop and your lips are feeling dry then I definitely will recommend buying the Mango one. Aside from Mango you also get Strawberry, Coconut, Shea Butter and Honey, which are all really good as well.
*Glazed Apple Shower Gel - The Body Shop - £4.00
This month I also loved using this Apple scented shower gel! It was part of the Christmas collection in The Body Shop and I thought I'd treat my self. I absolutely adore the smell and I can't believe how quickly its gone down! I don't know if it was just the size of the bottle because they changed it that made it look like it was used quicker but I would definitely purchase again anyway!

And that rounds up the last of 2014 monthly favourites! Wow! I have New Year related posts coming in the next few days so keep an eye out for those, it includes Nail Art and a Get Ready With Me so you wouldn't want to miss that.
A quick update, I went to see Disney on Ice today! It was absolutely amazing and I loved it so much! Thanking my sister so much for taking me! You'll be able to see the photos in January!

I hope you have a lovely day and I'll see you in my next post

Boxing Day Sales - Best Buys

Hey Guys,

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I can't believe it's already over, it's already been 3 days! Time is flying by! So everyone knows that after Christmas comes the Boxing Day sales, which me and my family never go on Boxing Day, we tend to go on the 27th. So I thought I would make a post sharing with you what I bought.

For the Boxing Day sales we like to travel to Canterbury again, we go before Christmas and after Christmas. I wasn't too sure about going here as it was really cold and wintry so walking through the town of Canterbury would be cold, so I wanted to go to my favourite shopping mall, Bluewater, because I thought I would get more things! However, from what I got in Canterbury and from what people were saying about Bluewater, I was glad that I went to Canterbury in the end!

So in Canterbury I got:

These boots admittedly weren't in the sales but I thought they were cute and they were the last ones in my size! They are from New Look for £27.99

This infinity scarf/snood was in the New Look sale for £5.00! It was £5.99 originally.

I got this 'going out' purse from Next for £7.00 and originally it was £14.00. I really liked the purse I bought in Salon International and wanted something similar to go out with, so I found this!

I actually love this top. It's slightly Christmassy but more Wintry but I just loved the fact that it said 'Bad Hair Day' on it, seeing as I am a hairdresser and I just thought it was funny. I got this in Next for £6.00, originally it was £12.00.

These pjs are the cutest things I've ever seen! And they are going to be my Winter pjs this year! I got these in Next as a two piece set for £16.00, they were originally £32.00! So glad I managed to find my size in these!

I saw this before Christmas but didn't acknowledge it as much as I did in the sales. I got this from Next for £6.00 when originally it was £15.00! The cutest thing about this t-shirt is the back of it!
Cute!

Lastly I bought the Taylor perfume by Taylor Swift in Boots for £14.99. It wasn't really in the sales but it was in the clearance section!

I got more than I expected and some of the things I bought are from Christmas this year, so at least I'm prepared for Christmas 2015 haha! I enjoyed the Boxing Day Sales and I hope you did to! I'm seeing Disney On Ice tomorrow! I can't wait! Enjoy the last few days of 2014 and I'll see you in my next post!

What I Got For Christmas 2014

Merry Christmas Guys!

I hope you are all having/had a lovely Christmas and I hope you got what you wanted!
So last year I did a post on what I got for Christmas in 2013 and I thought I would do the same this Christmas so it will be slightly similar to it. I will share with you what I got in my stocking presents and then what I got under the tree.
The living room looked like this and it got me all excited!

So as usual I open the stocking presents first and this year I got:

I really loved this years stocking presents! Especially the sleepy bear eye mask that I can't wait to wear tonight! And I love how adorably cute my Lion King, Penguin and Disney Princess underwear is! I'm in love with everything I got.

After I opened my stocking presents with my sister, we then, as a family gathered in the living room to open the Christmas presents under the tree! The part I like most is giving out my gifts and watching my family opening them and they love it, it's just an amazing feeling!

So what did Santa put under the tree for me?
Well...
We started off by opening my sisters presents, and I received:

And may I add Two tickets to see Disney On Ice! I'm SO EXCITED! I'm so thankful for this.

I then gave out my presents which everyone loved so I'm glad they liked their presents.
After we had done our presents we then opened the main presents under the tree

So Santa got me:

I really loved what I got this year for Christmas. I'm already obsessed with Taylor Swifts 1989 album already!
After we had opened all the presents we then sat down for a family meal which was unbelievably tasty! And being able to eat most of the chocolates was even more amazing!
I'm hoping that in the New Year I can bring in more OOTD posts using the new clothes that I got as well as a Get Ready With Me Morning/Night routine. I have a lot planned for 2015!

I'm going to cosy up in my new fuzzy pj jumper this evening so I hope you all enjoy the rest of your Christmas and I hope it brings you all the joy in the world! Have a very Merry Christmas and I'll see you in my next post!

In today's post I thought I'd share with you my festive nail polish colours! I can't believe there's only 3 more days to go until Christmas, seriously where has the time gone?

Okay, so I'm a little obsessed with NYC nail polish collection as you can see. I just find that they dry quicker than most nail polishes which is good for me.
I find that Christmas is mostly about the reds and the golds so I have chosen those colours this Christmas.

The nail polish I've chosen are:

* 012 Ruby Queen NYC red glitter Crystal Couture nail polish - from Superdrug - £1.99

* 224 Times Square NYC red nail polish - from Superdrug - £1.79
* Gold Glitter Beauty Secrets Scented Top Coat - from Sally's - £2.99
* 005 Red Hot NYC red and silver glitter nail polish - from Superdrug - £1.99
* 119 City Blackout NYC black nail polish - from Superdrug - £2.49
* 002 Full Metal Jacket NYC gold nail polish - from Superdrug - £1.79

For Christmas Eve/Day I have chosen to wear the Gold Glitter Beauty Secrets nail polish as I love the colour and it also has a scent after it dries and it also dries really quick and I also love the fact that when I look at my nails I already feel Christmassy! And after Christmas I might purchase a few more Beauty Secrets nail polishes!
I hope this post gave you a few colour ides for Christmas, or even in general, I absolutely love Christmas colour nails and I love doing nail art with them.
I'll see you in my next post!

Reads This Christmas

Hey Guys,

In today's post I thought I would do something different again. This time I wanted to share with you what book I am reading this Christmas. There's a lot of books you can read at Christmas but this one happens to be Christmas themed, so I thought why not keep it for Christmas!

The book is called 'Let It Snow' and it's written by three authors, John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle. After reading pretty much all of John Green's books I thought I'd have to read this one as well.
My first impression of the front cover was amazing! It's so cute and Christmassy, it even goes with my snowflakes on my dresser! It really gives you that winter feel.

I really like how the pages are set out. There's a snowflake on the first page of every Chapter. I'm already on Chapter Four of The Jubilee Express and I can honestly say I'm really enjoying it, I keep wanting to read it all the time! I also love the fact that every page number has two small snowflakes next to it. I definitely love anything with snowflakes and this book is highly recommended to read this Christmas!
I got this book in Waterstones for £7.99

I hope you enjoyed this post as it is a bit different, I can't wait to be sitting up on Christmas Eve night reading this book and falling asleep with it in my mind. It's such a great book already! So let me know what you think
I'll see you in my next post

Christmas Jumper OOTD

Hey Guys,

In today's post I thought I would do something a bit different and more different to what I usually do. It's more towards the fashion side of things. I was thinking about bringing more fashion related posts to my blog after Christmas, as I think it will be good to have a range of beauty related posts with a bit of fashion posts here and there. But as it was Christmas Jumper day yesterday I thought I'd share with you my outfit.

* Navy Pattern Jacket - New Look - £50.00
* Christmas Jumper - eBay - Price Unknown
Black Jeggings - New Look - £14.99
* Boots - New Look - £28.99
* Black Scarf.

I enjoy Christmas so much and being able to wear a Christmas jumper just makes me enjoy it even more! It was wonderful to see nearly everyone wearing a Christmas Jumper for Christmas Jumper day! So many different jumpers! It felt so Christmassy.

I hope you enjoyed this fashion related post. Comment if you would like to see more of these sort of posts. Enjoy the rest of your evening and I'll see you in my next post!

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

Hey Guys,

It's finally official! The Christmas tree has finally been put up! So in this post I thought I would show you the tree and my dresser that I decorate every season, with my winter season themed dresser I try to keep it low key with Christmas, that way all I have to do is put the small Christmas Tree away and still have all the cute snow flakes out and it looks cute and wintry!

My Christmas Tree this year looks like this (photo below). I'm the tree decorator in my family, dad puts the tree up and puts the lights around the tree and then I step in with all the decorations. When I decorate a tree I'm not someone who puts a decoration here or there, I like to take the red and the green and maybe a few gold decorations and hang them anywhere on the tree. I think this way it looks cuter and more Christmassy.

As for my dresser,

It's fairly similar to last years dresser. I've kept the winter scenery photo, the snow flakes and of course the small silver Christmas Tree (which is now on the shelf above the dresser.) If you saw last years post then you will know that my room had just been decorated, so I didn't have any shelves to put random bits on. Now I have two shelves, and one shelf has one proudly hung poster of a signed Tiffany Alvord poster!! But yeah, it has my Christmas Tree and my little block calendar on it and a few Christmas cards that I have received this year.
Hanging from my shelf, I made a mitten garland. Which I shall create as a DIY very soon for you! I also have a polar bear hanging from my shelf as well...that's a sponge...from The Body Shop. I thought it was too cute to be used as a sponge so I stuck it on my shelf! My mum also thought it would be funny to stick a random bauble on one of my pins on my cork board, but I kept it because why not? It's Christmas!
I also kept the snow flakes the same.

I hope you enjoyed this post. I've got a lot planned this Christmas, from beauty, to what I'm reading and nonsense like that. I can't wait to share it all with you guys.
I hope you have a fantastic week, and I'll see you in my next post!

Are you excited for Christmas?!
